At Western Living Communities (Timber Ridge and Vine Ridge), our resident's health and well-being have always been our priority and now the CDC agrees! Residents of senior living facilities have prioritized access to the initial release of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution.

We have partnered with CVS as our preferred pharmacy provider to administer the COVID-19 vaccine onsite at Timber Ridge McKinleyville, Timber Ridge Eureka, and Vine Ridge.

While there are a lot of opinions regarding the vaccine we are thankful to be able to offer this option to our team and residents.

• The COVID 19 vaccine is NOT using a live virus – you cannot get the coronavirus from the shot.
• The vaccine is more effective than seasonal flu and chickenpox vaccines.
• In the trials conducted, side effects were mostly mild and short term.
