Our Renaissance unit, located right behind our main building, offers personalized care for residents with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other memory diseases. With the same care and warmth found in our other communities, McKinleyville Renaissance residents enjoy therapeutic activities and a cozy home-like environment with the safety and security that families expect.
"It has taken me a while to gather my thoughts and try to put into words the gratitude I feel in my heart for all of you at Timber Ridge for the care and friendship you provided for my sweet sister. It’s difficult to believe she lived with you for 5 years! During those 5 years, I always knew that she was safe, comfortable, warm, well-fed and respected which was a huge relief, especially as her body began to fail over the last several months. I loved visiting her and watching as various staff members would interact with her with smiles, and hugs, and gentle teasing. She never told me about anyone who wasn’t kind or anything she was upset about. I know the work you have each chosen to do can be difficult and emotionally draining. But please know there are families that are so grateful for each of you! Thank you for caring for my “Peppermint Patty.” Thank you for providing her with friendship & “HOME.”
